Return to the Dream is a not-for-profit project to revive the TERA (The Exiled Realm of Arborea, (C) Bluehole Studio/Krafton) online service. To achieve this we use a mix of community-created software, publicly available information, as well as some of our own home developed software and tooling.
The service we provide is for existing legal users/owners of the TERA game client. We do not host nor distribute the game client as we do not have the relevant permissions to do so, however we may provide links to third party services which may provide backups of the game client and other tools for legal users/owners of the game software. We are not affiliated with any such third parties, and any such links to any third parties are provided as a courtesy only.
The artwork and graphics on this website are comprised of in-game screen-shots (which we believe is fair use), our own artworks, and some artwork created by artificial intelligence.
Any money collected via donations or via the in-game shop is for the sole purpose of paying the operating costs of running the service. We publish the full operating costs and transactions for the public to see, and will refuse to accept any money if we feel we already have enough to operate the service for at least the next 2 – 3 years.
